Desktop Web Analytics - For Piwik Alpha
is available on your desktop

Now you can view yours Piwik statistics directly on your desktop (you must install Piwik on your server first)
Desktop Web Analytics use Adobe AIR (Flex 3 here) technology and it's available on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Keep in mind that an Alpha version so, bugs are present!.

Desktop Web Analytics is under development.

So when you've installed Desktop Web Analytics, a default profile of "Piwik Demo" is operationnel and you can use it immediatly.
Of course, you can add a new profile of your choice but, before, Piwik must be installed on your server.

To add a new profile:

  1. Click on "Create Profile" button and enter informations:
    • a profile name
    • the url of the piwik installation
    • your authentication (to find it, you must be connected on your Piwik. Once connected, click on API link and under "User authentication" you see your token_auth, copy and paste it)
    • and description of the profile.
  2. Then click to "check" button and, if there is no problem, you can select your site
  3. And click "Save profile" button.

Your profile is saved, you can now use your new profile and show it's stats.
